July 24th is the day we celebrate our pioneer heritage. The girls had a lot of fun. Ellie won the Stake hula-hoop contest and Paige and Daddy had so much fun in the sac race. We can't forget the balloon toss. Ellie and Mom did awesome!! I'm so grateful for all who came before and sacrificed so much. I could never have done what the pioneers did. They are a constant inspiration to me to keep trudging on and never give up. Thank-you to all our beloved pioneers!!

I wish our stake celebrated Pioneer Day. This year wouldn't have made a difference since I had a baby that day, but what's the point of being born on Pioneer Day if no one celebrates it here. Love it!! I probably would have had 2 of my babies die if I were a pioneer, I don't think I could have handled that very well.
